Working period and two-days-show at Tag Team Studio 18. June - 5. Juli 2020
With the intention to explore possibilities connected to spacial matters, light and perception, I made this site-specific drawing. All of it was made during my working period at the gallery.
During the show, I also used the rest of the exhibition space to show various charcoal drawings:

B-open 2019
As many years before, I had my studio open at B-open 2019. At B-open lots of Bergen artists open their studios and show their works on many different arenas in the city.

Interference 2016 / 2019
A collaboration with composer Harald M. Øgaard, presented at University of West London, 2016
In INTERFERENCE we are working with interactions between sound and images, time and space.
For the exhibition in London we created an interactive installation where the audience could combine a selection of sound and image layers, and take part in creating an abstract landscape, shown on a screen.
All the visual layers were photographed elements of my paintings, digitally put together in Photoshop. All the sound material was based on recordings of water sounds (liquid and solid). These recordings had been edited and manipulated.
In the exhibition I also showd some paintings related to the installation, and people could borrow a pair of headphones and listen to two of Harald's compositions from his Master’s project "Flyt".
The project is supported by Komponistenes Vederlagsfond

MALERIER OG TEGNINGER (Paintings and drawings) - Soloexhibition
Galleri N. Bergslien 28. Jun. - 1. Aug. 2014
Previous to the exhibition in Galleri N. Bergslien, I stayed in Eidfjord, in the artists recidence of Nils Bergslien, for several times in 2013 and 2014.
Many of the exhibited works, are specially connected to the place. You can find architecture and nature elements, removed from their natural connexions, from Eidfjord, Lofoten, Bergen and Arizona. Elements from these sites are used mainly as an instrument to create new places-, new ideas of space on the surface of a drawing or painting, and in the mind of the spectator.
The exhibiton was supportet by Eidfjord municipality .

Group exhibition, Bjørgvin fengsel (prison) 27. okt. - 11. nov 2007
About the exhibition:
The exhibition "relocated" took place in non-conventional exhibition rooms in Bjørgvin prison in Bergen. Five artists showed site-specific works; Aud Marit Skarrebo Holmen (installation/text), Ann Kristine Aanonsen Larsen (video installation/sound), Linda Øgaard (installation/painting) and Line Helen Danielsen and Stine Gonsholt (installation).
The artists had 1500 m² in Bjørgvin prison at their disposal. This part of the prison was earlier an institution for mentally disabled people. The building was currently ripped of all its interior and the rooms appear as concrete shells. In ”relocated” new meaning is added to the rooms through various adaptations, reconstructions and placing of elements. The exhibition was open for the public during the weekends. We had separate viewings for the inmates. Arranged by Bjørgvin prison and the visual artist Vigdis Hareide.
About Uklar himmel - a room painting, 638 x 638 x 296 cm:
The work is a single piece of art consisting of wall, ceiling and floor painting covering three adjacent rooms. – An abstract painting which reinforces- and at the same time redefines this space. The rooms initially lacked electric lighting, and I chose to let the daylight heavily influence the final result.
To me these room have a rough character that I've wanted to threat with a certain brutality. The work has been very physical, and this is apparent. The paint has run down the walls and ”stones” of Leca has loosened during the process. In some parts, the painting/room moves in and out of a darkness that almost dissolves the room. Other parts already subjected to daylight, are further enhanced by lighter colours. There are contrasts in the painting aiming to distort/confuse the understanding of the room.
To me, this project deals with desorientation and a kind of "intermediate state", reflected in the history of this building and the prison life.
